Legal Aid Service of Broward County’s Immigration Unit provides assistance to the community’s vulnerable immigrant population in the following areas:

• We assist immigrant victims of domestic violence, victims of trafficking in persons, and victims of other violent crimes, in obtaining lawful immigration status.
• We represent abused, abandoned, or neglected immigrant children in their applications for lawful permanent residence.
• We litigate complex immigration cases before the Department of Justice Executive Office of Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Intake:
Persons seeking assistance from Legal Aid Service of Broward County’s Immigration Unit may come directly to the Legal Aid office Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm to complete an application for legal services, or may call the Immigration Unit at: (954)736-2474 or (954)358-5647.
