CONSUMER UNIT
In the Consumer Unit of Legal Aid Service of Broward County, we assist clients with:
- Foreclosures
- Non-eviction cases where loss of homestead is threatened
- Wage and bank account garnishments
- Utility terminations
Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcies are done in limited circumstances to address the above problems.
Intake:
Individuals with consumer problems that meet the above criteria will be seen at the Legal Aid offices located at 491 North State Road 7, Plantation, Florida, each Wednesday, noon to 5:00 p.m. on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please note that space is limited.
